Anthony J. Fisichella
My name is Doug Fisichella and I would like to introduce you to a body of work he created over the course of over 40 years of study. This life long pursuit culminated in the Trilogy of books he called:
One Solitary Life
We are all very fortunate that he completed it before his passing, but I guess that was inevitable. They say if you are still here that your work is not done. Well Dad finished his work and then was gone.
Now it has Fallen to my Brother and I with the help and support of the rest of our family to bring this brilliant work to light.
So we created a publishing company and now have two of the three books of his Trilogy available with book three to be released later this year.
Within the Trilogy and his other works he breaches the subjects of Evolution, Reincarnation, Karma, The Seven planes of Manifestation, The Trinity of Creation and The Christ Epoch, a study of the scriptures of the New Testament through the eyes of a metaphysician and Biblical Scholar.
These books are not for everyone. If you are happy with what your religious doctrines reveal and see no contradictions in the teachings maybe you are not ready for a new view on religion.

The Concept: in his words…
The contention of the author is that there is an accumulated “wisdom of the ages,” which is the basis of the world’s religions. It has been referred to variously as the “Perennial Philosophy” (Aldous Huxley), or the “Secret Doctrine” (H. P. Blavatsky), and shall hereinafter be referred to as the “Ageless Wisdom,”. Simply stated, the purpose of human existence is to provide a medium for the awakening and expansion of the human soul through “self devised and self induced methods,” leading toan expanded state of consciousness, termed enlightenment or illumination, embodied and personified by Jesus, among others, leading to entry into a unique state of existence entitled the “Kingdom.”
This ageless wisdom is the connective tissue that binds us and guides us upon our journey of awakening. We will explore the esoteric reality that is the soul of the exoteric world of apparently separate forms. Understand the principles that are featured within the kingdoms of nature (mineral, plant, animal and human) and follow the pattern as it outlines the stages (initiations) of the next kingdom to be birthed within the cave of the human heart. All things are expressions of the expanding consciousness of the “One Solitary Life” that binds them. Life is a journey of awakening which we all share and in which we must partake. This is the tale of "One Solitary Life" – a mystical tale of all evolving life.
This is also to be a mystical biography of a man called Jesus – it is, correspondingly, an allegorical statement of a seemingly inexplicable Cosmic Process. This is the Life of Jesus – it is also a transcendental drama portraying the ineffable Grand Design of the Universe and mankind’s ultimate purpose and legacy. Essentially, this is a pilgrimage into the mystical and the miraculous. We are to undertake the journey of man’s evolution toward divinity.
Warning! The Christ you will meet within these pages may not be the one you anticipate. Two thousand years ago most of the community into which the Christ Consciousness surfaced anticipated a very different Being than the one they encountered as they trod the roads and byways of Judea. That confusion of identity set the tone for the surfacing Christian ideology and underscored much of the religious confusion in the world for centuries to come.

These are all things that are discussed in One Solitary Life. Using the life of Christ as an analogy, he draws together the root principles of the all the world religions and in doing so shows us where we came from, how we can find out why we’re here and what great and wondrous experiences are in store for us as individuals and as the human race.
He makes sense of the two most greatly misunderstood doctrines of Karma and Reincarnation. He deals with these complex principles in a direct, logical, unemotional manner.
H. P. Blavatsky, world renowned author Secret Doctrine, said there is no religion greater than truth. The ancient wisdom embodies the root principles of the world religions and does not directly subscribe to any one specific religion and therefore embodies Truth.
One Solitary Life uses the Christ story as a metaphor for spiritual development.
Life is but a lesson and we are all learning. We all become aware of life’s mysteries and inner levels at different rates. Sometimes we learn the easy way and sometimes we make it very hard. There are times we must suffer the pain of growth. Does not the child have to touch a hot pipe to know that it doesn’t feel good? Does not the infant have to fall many times before he learns to walk, and then run?

Anthony Fisichella began his study of metaphysics and. specifically the Ageless Wisdom, (the common principles contained at the core of all religions) over forty years ago while living on Long Island, NY. He began to share his knowledge at an Adult Ed class at Hicksville High School, and then his student body grew to include and Farmingdale University and C.W. Post College. His classes at the Hicksville Library grew from the original 13 students to over 300 every month. The rest is history.
He organized The Students of Esoteric Thought, and opened The New Age Center and a metaphysical bookstore.
The New Age Center became an umbrella that embraced many schools of thought, Dream Workshops, Personal Growth Workshops, Course of Miracles, Transcendental Meditation, Jose Silva Mind Control, Rosicrucian teachings, Theosophists, and Association for Research and Enlightenment, and much more. Tony, as he preferred to be called, believed that no one route is the only true route, and sought to fill the needs of the many.
“I try to teach a positive, creative and dynamic approach based on love and good will. We are a school of all forms of esoteric thought, not one specific movement.” Tony continued his sharing on a national level and eventually lectured on an international level.
From the seeds of his national and international tours grew the Annual International Metaphysics Festival held in Hempstead, Long Island. The festival featured sixty Eastern and Western spiritual leaders from around the globe, and attracted more than 3,000 attendees. Over the course of eight days over 200 lectures were offered.
Tony authored many essays as well as a book entitled Echoes from Eternity. Originally entitled Metaphysics, What Is It Anyway, then published by Llewellyn Publishing, as Metaphysics, The Science of Life. It was translated into several languages and distributed world wide.
Due to public demand it has been re-released and renamed Echoes From Eternity (his original title) and was reprinted again in 2004 just prior to his passing.
In 2004 Tony created The Higher Ground Foundation. This is an on line site www.Higher-Ground.com whose mission it is “to investigate, develop and share an in-depth understanding of the principles and purpose of the cosmic creative process that gave birth to man and the universe; to promote an awareness of the “higher ground” that constitutes the ultimate destination of the journey unfolding for each and every soul.

Tony does not claim himself to be exclusive. Nor does he claim credit for the teachings of esoteric philosophies. On the contrary, in addition to other authors and great teachers mentioned earlier he also refers to the great Masters, Plato, Plutarch, Socrates, Dali Lama and Carl Jung.

Book I, The Vision, The Journey And The Quest, will set the foundation for an exploration into the nature and cause of man’s appearance on earth culminating in the emergence of the magnificent being who has profoundly influenced mankind for 2000 years. We start looking for answers to the age old questions who am I? How did I get here? Where am I going?
- Book II, From The Unknown To The Known? Delves deep into the symbolism of the Trinity at the core of the religions of the world, we follow the process of the involution of Spirit into Matter from the first creative act of “He about whom naught can be said”, through the evolution of human consciousness. We will explore the expression of that trinity in the creative process and in man himself, examining the anatomy of consciousness and its varied expression throughout the universe through the eyes of the metaphysician and esotericist.
- Book III The Christ Epoch Explores the Gospel accounts of The New Testament, painting a deeper picture the symbolism contained in this beautiful and timeless story. Tony Posits that is about each and every one of us as we walk the via dolorosa of our lives. We take a new look at the meaning of the Temptations in the wilderness and the Mantras on the cross as well as other seminal moments in the life of this itinerant preacher.
